Weekly Photo Challenge: Resolved

i’ve always loved graffiti, that’s probably clear. lesser known fact, i actually got a camera for the purpose of capturing these images and ultimately putting together a book of my own. so, it’s my resolution to put real effort into this project. may have made a giant step towards that goal today…we’ll see.

Weekly Photo Challenge: Reflection

this photo is two parts relevant. first, you can see the reflection of the other headstones in this one. and second, probably most important, is reflecting on the enormity of the efforts that people have put into making our lives as good as they are here. there are over 285,000 lives represented by these graves which is truly amazing. it’s more than live in the city the cemetery is located.

Weekly Photo Challenge: Green

green has a lot of meanings from the typical idea of color to envy. it also stands for hope, spring, and the environmental movement. ironically, i found out that in old asian languages like chinese and vietnamese the same word was used to describe both green and blue, which if you look close is the color of the grapes when i took this photo. well, they look like strung-together blueberries to me.
